Cryptic Plumage Press is an indie micropress, launching in September 2026 with the space opera Corners of the Deep Dark.
Things will probably be pretty quiet for most of the summer while work goes on in the background. You can subscribe to author A. P. Howell's newsletter or read previously published stories in the Deep Dark series to see if they're your jam. The press has accounts on Bluesky and Mastodon for periodic announcements. So settle in for heat waves (or cold snaps, depending on your hemisphere) and hopefully you'll come along for the ride in September.
